South Coast Choi Kwang Do is part of the Hampshire family of schools offering classes throughout the county. We offer numerous locations with over 20 classes a week!!

So no matter what your schedule, we can help.

Our classes are open to all, ages 5 to 85+, no matter what your experience or ability!

Referred to as “the martial art for life”, Choi Kwang Do (or Choi, as it’s known in class) provides a safe, fun filled environment where everyone can train together!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Jon since meeting him for his first Choi Kwang Do class a few years ago. His smile was enough to tell me then that he was going to make a great student, and as I came to discover an even better instructor. At that first meeting, Jon discussed his past experience in the Martial Arts but with without hesitation began his humble journey as a beginner in CKD.

Jon’s dedication and focus on his training made him an obvious candidate to join the

Hants CKD instructor team, and to our delight he accepted the promotion in January 2009.

Jon has been a constant companion and highly valued colleague for many years now and I’ve been fortunate to have shared some memorable events with him such as our trip to Korea in October 2010 where we supported Grandmaster Kwang Choi for the first Korean Seminar.

I was honoured to be able to help Jon achieve 1^st Dan Black Belt in September 2010

and thrilled as he went on to open his first CKD school in Fareham on 10^th January 2011.

If you are fortunate to have enjoyed Jon’s infectious smile and the buzz of his classes
